Well hello there!

I’m Alison, the voice and traveller behind Dreamer at Heart.

I moved to Paris four years ago following a long-held dream of living in France. I had wrapped up my teaching career and travelled solo, honouring my curious and nomadic spirit. With my French heritage and many visits to France over the years, creating a life in Paris was the next undeniable step.

Living in Paris has given me the opportunity to discover her extraordinary gems. My French friends say I know Paris better than they do! I have also explored the regions of France by train, on multiple road trips, and by motorcycle.
